We will not disclose information about our customers to third parties except where it is part of providing a service to you - e.g. arranging the booking with a local taxi cab office. Highgate Cars is also regulated by the Public Carriage Office a statutory body which is responsible for London Taxi licensing and London Minicab services licensing.
What information will Highgate Cars collect about me?
Information is collected when you book a cab as required by our obligations under the Transport for London Act 1998.
When you book a cab with Highgate Cars minicab service you must provide some personal information, such as your name, location and phone number as well as destination.
Information collected upon registration:
There is no need to register in order to book a cab with Highgate Cars. However, to make it easier for future online booking you can create an account.
Our servers do not automatically record information ("Log Data") created by your use of the Services. Log Data may include information such as your IP address, browser type, the referring domain, pages visited, and search terms. Other actions, such as interactions with advertisements, may also be included in Log Data.
Highgate Cars respects your privacy and Highgate Cars does not see any need to collect this information.
A cookie is a small information file that is sent to your computer and is stored on your hard drive. When you visit websites such as provided by a rival London Highgate Cars they will generally place a cookie on your hard drive. To process your booking, we never share your personal information with any other London Taxi Service unless the London Airport Transfer journey requires us to pass the transaction to a partner cab office selected to provide the service to you. We will on the odd occasion share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these functions. We are required as part of our obligations to the Public Carriage Office to forward this information whenever we pass the journey over to a rival London Taxi Service or London Minicab Service.
Communication and marketing:
In certain cases Highgate Cars may use your email address to send you information on our services or news. This may include changes to prices and fares and information about weather, traffic disruption or airport closures.
